With its 37 member laboratories (about 1300 researchers and lecturers), the MESHS truly is a “talent pool” of every HSS discipline. Consequently, it permits the setting of collaborations between researchers from diverse disciplines. It also raises the visibility of HSS researchers at the national and international scope.
The research transfer activities of the MESHS consist in managing project and establishing partnerships between the research economy and businesses.
Activities of the MESHS research transfer department:
- Organisation of awareness and training events for public and private actors about research transfer, intellectual property, research contracts and project management
- Support to researchers for project management
- Strategic monitoring: detection of high potential research transfer projects, diffusion of information (call for proposals, research programs…)
- Promotion of research activities by supporting exchange between HSS researchers and other domains researchers and business actors
- Providing advice and expertise to actors and funding organisations
- Involvement in related networks and partnerships
